This is a great new Indian' has opened recently next door to Sainsburys in Prenton.I say 'Indian' but this is something different. They serve south Indian food from kerala. much lighter than you're average curry house and much much tastier! go try it now!!

Date Posted: 01 November 2008We thoroughly enjoy our regular visits to The Kerala Kitchen, the quality of the food is superb with the added bonus of Kerala cuisine being different to traditional Indian food. You are welcomed by friendly, courteous members of staff who are very obliging in catering for specific or individual requests, all at a reasonable price. The vegetarian and vegan food is superb and highly recommended. A gem of a restaurant.

Date Posted: 24 April 2009As a North Indian, we appreciate the the delights of South Indian food. It is a real shame that this cuisine is not more widely available. I am a regular "take away-er" of this lovely restaurant. The food is excellent, and I would highly recommend the chicken 65. Absolutely out of this world.

I look forward to visiting kerala kitchen once a month with family and friends knowing i will get excellent quality food at a really good price.
The staff makes us feel very welcome and are on hand if we need anything.
I am a big fan of indian food and have visited a few places but i have to say kerala kitchen wins everytime.
I will be visiting again next month for a night of great food.

Date Posted: 04 January 2012A great change from the 'pseudo' Indian food generally available. Having visited Kerala on a number of occasions the food here is, of course very authentic and flavoursome. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I used to live a short walk from their original location, now a little bit further away but still worth the trip!!
